The maintenance window, and whose evening it lands in

A maintenance window is the one clock event the operator announces in advance, and the announcement is usually a block of local time stated once. On the sample the same two-hour block is a quiet 03:00 for one reader, a mid-afternoon for another and a lost evening for a third.

Whether the window is a full outage or a read-only mode is stated in the notice, and the two are different products. Read-only lets a player read a balance and not move it.

Support volume

The queue that builds during the window is dealt with at the end of it, on the support desk's own clock rather than the site's. A window that ends at 05:00 can leave a queue until 09:00.

A credit window is not suspended by a maintenance window on any of the 40 sample pages. A credit that was going to expire during an outage still expires during it.

A working-day clock

An outage does not consume a working day in the opposite direction: a payout that was due to be handled on the day of the window is handled on that day or the next working one, and the calendar is unchanged either way.
